Memorial services for Larry Walters, 77, will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana.  Visitation will be held at 1:30 P.M. prior to services.

Larry Eugene Walters was born on March 23, 1947, in Houston, Texas and passed away on August 13, 2024, at his residence in West Monroe, Louisiana.  He was with the United States Navy and served on the USS Independence.  Larry was a retired business owner of Walters Security in Monroe, Louisiana.  He is also a member of the Church of Christ and part of the Barak Shriners organization. Larry’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and supporting them in their activities.  Larry is preceded in death by his parents, P.E. and Bonnie Jo Walters.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Alice Walters; daughter, Mary Grace Robinson; son, Casey Eugene Walters and daughter-in-law, Kellie Hutchinson Walters; granddaughter, Kamryn Joy Robinson; grandsons, Zac Thomas Robinson, Lucas Grant Walters and Joseph Casey Walters; sister-in-law, Marilyn Sturkie; brothers-in-law, J.D. Marks (Martha) and Roger Marks; along with other cherished family and friends.
