Growing up as almost-family, then having Larry become my online mentor when I got my first computer, I now feel like I've lost a brother. I am so thankful to have had the chance to have been in touch with him for the recent-past years. He was a fine man, from a fine family, and he will be missed. My comfort is in knowing that I will be seeing him again in heaven when it's my turn to depart this world.

I remember Larry talking me into using Windows. I told him, "I have no need for that" to which he responded, "Give me 30 minutes with you and you won't be able to live without it". 22 years later, he is still right. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Truly a great guy!!!

Larry was the person who met me at the plane when I embarked on a new career in a new area >40-years ago. He was my mentor on the job and he and Charlene and the boys welcomed me and my new bride to the South. There aren't enough good words to say how we love and appreciate Larry and his family.
