Funeral services for Mr. Kin Saylor will be held at 2:45 PM, Friday, August 7, 2020 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Eros, LA with Rev. Neal Wigley officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at the church, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Kin was born July 5, 1936 in Harlan, Kentucky and passed away August 4, 2020 in Eros, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallin Saylor, Sr. and Lula Griggs Saylor; siblings Kenney L. Saylor, Birtha Mae Parli, Wallin Saylor, Jr., Wilburn Saylor, Clayton Saylor and his loving wife of 18 years, Louise Fowler Saylor.
Mr. Kin was a retired coal miner and a Christian. Mr. Kin’s favorite pastime was to mow grass.
Mr. Kin is survived by his children; Jeanie E. Saylor, grandchildren, Glessie Miriah Saylor Gilbert & David William Saylor; great grandchild, Zoey Alexis Gilbert; brother, Raven Saylor and wife Debbie; step-daughters, Cheryl Howell and husband Robert, Anita Gordon and husband George and Faye Farmer and husband Johnny; step grandchildren, Richie Evans and Hope Daniels; step great-grandchild Presley Evans and several other step-grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family, friends and church brothers to serve as pallbearers.
