Mr. Kendall Paul Cahill was born on January 4, 1925 and passed away on May 23, 2016. Mr. Cahill was a vet of WWII participating in eight of the nine campaigns in the Pacific assigned to USS J. Franklin Bell. Ken had multiple citations and medals associated with action seen in the Pacific. He was past President of PABCO, a member of Rotary Club of Ruston, and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston.He is survived by his three children: Christopher Cahill and wife, Terri, of Ruston, Calvin Cahill and wife, Maggi, of Wimberley, TX, and Cassie Ball and husband, Jimmy, of Ruston; seven grandchildren: Cristy French, Jessica Bradshaw and husband, Jay, Kellie Nestrud and husband, Ryan, Rachel Howard and husband, Nick, Christopher Cahill and wife, Dana, Daniel Cahill and wife, Paige, Katie Phillips and husband, Josh; and seventeen wonderful great grandchildren.The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Trace and Kim and the ICU staff at North Louisiana Medical Center and Stephanie and Nikki of Premier Hospice of Arcadia for their compassionate care and support for our father and family.A private family memorial service is to be held at a later date.
