Funeral services for Katherine Lenard Perkins will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe. Rev. Ricky Baker will officiate. Interment will follow at Bosco Cemetery in Bosco, LA.Mrs. Perkins was born and raised in Bosco, LA and passed away on August 25, 2017 in Wisner, LA. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Monroe. Mrs. Perkins is a retired seamstress for Selig-Simmons Manufacturer for over 28 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Perkins; daughter, Gemini Ann Perkins; three grandchildren, Amanda Kirtland, Jay McCarta, and Joshua Randall Perkins; and her parents, Paul and Ruth Lenard.Mrs. Perkins is survived by four children, Larry Randall Perkins, Carolyn Perkins Turner, Patty Perkins McCarta, and Rhonda Perkins Kirtland and husband Kevan; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Truett Lenard and Roger Lenard and a host of nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday, August 28, 2017 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe.
