Julia was a card player with my mother-in-law, Carolyn Taylor. More than that, she was my dear friend! When I moved to West Monroe she took me under her wing and we had honest, open conversations. I have always considered her my first friend in this community and while I haven't seen her in a while, I will miss knowing that she'd nearby. Praying that precious memories fill the hole in your hearts. I know she left big holes!

Julia was such a loving and dear friend to our family. We will always remember her sweet disposition, caring heart and wonderful sense of humor. She was the best bus driver to a rowdy and rambunctious group of kids! And she was a very close friend to our mother, Sue. Julia blessed us with her sweet spirit as she drove the limousine for Mom’s funeral service. Those two are now reunited as we know they shared the same faith. We pray God’s grace and peace for all of Julia’s family and loved ones. Much love and deepest sympathies, Tommy, Jeannie and Tammie Elledge

John 5;28,29 says all those in the memorial tombs will come out. We look forward to that time.

I loved Julia! She took my dad in at Ridgecrest while he was in rehab and showed him how to get outside! She never wanted to smile for me at the Christmas party, but she would always laugh after the picture! I will miss her so much!

I know your son, Bart. He is a good hearted American that is a true friend. He was raised to do what is fair and what is best for his friends. He always shared good memories of his mama from on West Monroe. I know that Bart was raised by a mama that taught him right from wrong and how to show respect for his friends. I sincerely offer my prayers for the family. God bless you Ms Julia Wroten. God certainly gained an angel in heaven.

I will never forget this exceptional lovely Lady, Family Friend of sixty-four years. The most sincere, caring Lady that I could always talk to most all my life when there was no one else. The fun times when I would always scare her. She could scream so loud while jumping, All the time she and Floyd spent with my Mom and Dad. Pulling wheelies on her riding lawnmower, the first that I rode Watching the steak house being built , that had excellent steaks, Shooting at rats in the barn with BBs, Taking me to get stitches in my leg in her 1957 T-Bird. The times that she put me up when traveling through West Monroe. Watching their VW Dealership being built in El Dorado, The Haunted House across the street during Halloween. Keeping me posted when my relatives were departing this earth. There are so many great memories that I shall never forget, I could go on for ever. This wonderful Lady will be impossible to replace. My parents loved her as much as I always will. God bless you Jay, Cary, Bart, and Jake. I hope to be with you when the time arrives.

I was blessed to call Julia friend, cousin, and my sister. My heart goes out to her sons and their families. She had a heart of gold, a heart for God and a special place in her heart for all her family and friends. She was great to be around, she could tell jokes and stories like a pro. She enjoyed playing cards and would make us play until she won a game. She loved to get ice cream and wanted to be surprised with the flavor. Heaven is where she wanted to be and I know she can breathe fresh air, walk as far as she could and spend time singing for Jesus. She is finally at home.
