Funeral services for Judy Glass Teaster will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at North Monroe Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Dye and Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment to follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park-Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe. Mrs. Teaster was born February 18, 1943 and died July 25, 2013 in Monroe, LA after a brief struggle with cancer. Judy was born in Kennett, MO and attended Arkansas State University. She and her late husband, Fred Teaster, then moved to Farmerville from 1969 to 1986. They moved to Monroe where she has resided since. She has been a member of North Monroe Baptist Church for over 27 years where she was affectionately known as the “church lady”. She worked with children and was a member of the choir during her years there. Survivors include two daughters, Shelia Ginn and husband Keith of Monroe and Jansen Clary and husband Greg of Lakeland, FL; mother Willmeda Glass Stout of Kennett, MO; brother Charles Glass and wife Linda of Jonesboro, AR. Six grandchildren, Tyler Ginn and wife Morgan, Lance Ginn, Karlin Aloisio, Blake Aloisio, McCrae Clary, and Brittani Creed. She also had special adopted grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kendra, and Kyra Clark and Lily Pham. She also has a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dr. Fred Teaster and her father Mr. Clyde C. Glass. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Clark, David Creed, Arthur Earl, Jim Gray, John Hunter, Keith Huey, and Bradley Smith. We would also like to say a special thank you to the A-Team caregivers and close friends, Billie Creed, and Cheryl Huey. The family will receive guests from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Saturday night, July 27th at North Monroe Baptist Church.
