Leslie, I shopped for days to purchase a card to give to you and could not find what I wanted it to say. I think there just aren't any. Please know that my parents have prayed faithfully for your sweet mom and family. It's amazing that our lives seem to parallel each others in so many ways. We both work for our GREAT DADS, our babies are so very close to their grandparents, and we loved our mothers so very much. When we looked for a spot to bury her when I saw mrs. Judy's I knew mother would like that area by her. Please call if you feel like screaming one day and thinks no one else can understand. Believe me I WILL UNDERSTAND!!!!! Love you as always and will always be here for you. We both were so very blessed by what I call "Perfect Parents". jana

Mr. Cook, Leslie and Ronnie, Judy was such a kind and gentle soul and that is a very rare characteristic these days. Any words I come up with to express my sympathy just seem inadequate. The only thing I can say that may give comfort is that my first thought when we buried Dad was that I was glad he was near Ms. Judy. May God bless your family!

Dear Leslie, Ronnie and Mr. Robert, I was so saddened when reading the paper today and finding out about Mrs. Judy. I would have never known she was ill. She was my P. E. teacher one year, and I always thought that she was such an elegant woman. I can see her right now walking up and down the driveway pulling the wagon with one of the kids in it. And she would always wave and just smile. It seems like it was just a few days ago. Leslie, thank you for all that you have done for me over the years, and if you ever need anything, never hesitate. God bless you all and my families thoughts and prayer's are with you all right now. Praying and Believing !

I first met Judy when I was five years old in dance class with Mary Lou Young. She lived down the street from me growing up. I lived on Ridge Avenue and her family on Splane Drive. We attended Highland Elem. and West Monroe High together and graduated together. I moved away and then back home and saw her last in Wal-Mart. We only chatted briefly and she told me of her illness. I recognized her right away, because she really had not changed much and very nearly passed by thinking she would not know me, but when I spoke she said, "I thought I knew those eyes." She was always very talented, but very down-to-earth. That I will remember.

We lived around the corner from the Cooks. I can just see Robert and Judy walking at Kiroli Park. Judy never failed to speak and wave when we passed. She was a real "class act". She will certainly be missed. When we had a house fire, Judy was one of the first people to come over and see if there was anything she could do.
