Funeral services for Joye Antley Shrader will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Bro. Don Delukie will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Joye is preceded in death by husband, Cleo Shrader; parents; David and Emma Antley; 3 brothers, David Antley, Pete Antley and Buster Antley; 1 sister, Barbara Sissy Antley.Joye is survived by her son Michael Shrader and partner, Susan Garsee; daughter, Jaqueline Shrader; granddaughters, Tiffany Moore, Chelsey Harvey, Hannah Shrader, Sarah Shrader; grandsons, Paul Arnold, Stewart Shrader, Michael Bradley Shrader; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Kermit Antley and wife Johnnie; sister, Bobbie Jeanette Weller and husband Ronnie.Pallbearers will be Stewart Shrader, Clay Harvey, Jamie Moore, Joel Istre, John Stewart and Dennis Clack.Special thanks to Angela Abbott for caring for our grandmother as her own.Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.comKilpatrick Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA

I have nothing but fond memories of Aunt Joye and the many Thanksgivings and Christmas' spent in Monroe. I can still hear her voice, Sissy's and all the others. I pray all of you find some peace and know that Joye is now reunited with those she has missed for so long.

Love y'all and thing about y'all. It seems like yesterday when we were all over at Aunt Joy and Uncle Cleo's. Our family was fleeing a hurricane in Florida. I was telling my husband, Dan, of the family gatherings we used to have. The vegetables Aunt Joy used can and gave us to take home and Uncle Cleo's bees and honey. And, of course, all the family. Wonderful memories.

I love you guys and thinking of all of you. I remember the last time I saw Aunt Joy and Uncle Cleo in Monroe. They were in their new home and our family was there because we were fleeing a hurricane in Florida. It seems like yesterday. Time certainly flies. Also, I was thinking about all those family gatherings we used to have. The garden and all the canned goods, good food and Uncle Cleo's bees. And, of course, family. So much fun and such good memories.
