Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Wright Sutton Ward, age 86, of Farmerville, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville. Officiating the service will be Rev. Scott Jennings. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Farmerville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. “Momma Joycee” as she was affectionatley known, was born on September 5, 1926 and passed away on March 17, 2013. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville. She retired from Farmerville Drug Store with over twenty years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, John D. Sutton, mother, Vivian Reeves and great-grandson, Jonah Ruger. She is survived her husband, of 67 years, Willie E. “Sam” Ward of Farmerville, LA; children, Ricky Ward Donna of West Monroe, LA; Samuel Ward Vicki of Farmerville, LA; “special daughter” Teresia Eubanks ; five grandchildren: Melanie, Joni, Zach, Samantha, and Eddie; seven great-grandchildren, and siblings: Jimmie Titcomb, Wayne Sutton, and Johnny Sutton; with a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Jason Freeland, Marty Sutton, Mike Sutton, Kevin Brantley, Nick Donald, and Ryan Carr. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Antioch Baptist Church.
