Graveside services for Joyce Lee Owens of Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 18, 2022 at Liberty Cemetery, Spearsville, LA with J.W. Helm and Dr. Jim Wolfe officiating.
Joyce was born April 23, 1944 in Monroe, LA and passed away July 13, 2022 in Monroe, LA. She was a loyal employee with King, Coates, Nolan, D.D.S. After the practice closed she finished working her career with Tufts Pediatric Dentistry. Joyce was a member of Ridge Avenue Baptist Church, West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents Edie and Oral Owens and her brother Andy Owens.
Joyce is survived by her sister Kathy Gates and husband Gene; niece Allyson Johnson and husband Jeremy; nephew Daniel Gates and wife Joelle; great-niece Kaitlyn Johnson and great-nephew Greyson Johnson; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A special thanks to Dr. Masters, Kay and the other oncology nurses and staff at LSU Oschner-Monroe, and Angela and Terrence Parker for their love shown to Joyce in the later years, this care could never be repaid.
