Bill Sanderson with interment to follow at Sibley Cemetery near Choudrant, LA under the directional Kilpatrick Funeral Home in RustonMr. Poche was born October 8, 1935 and passed away June 11, 2016 following a lengthy illness. He is preceded in by his parents: Felix and Fannie Poche; brothers: Felix (Phil) Poche, Philip (Dick) Poche and Elmo (Mooky) Poche.Mr. Poche is survived by his wife Gereline Jerry Bennett Poche of Choudrant; son: Joseph Edward Poche and wife Karen Sanderson Poche of Alabama; granddaughter: Amanda Poche Powell and husband Casey Hunt Powell of Heflin, Louisiana; great granddaughters: Avery Christine Powell of Heflin, LA, Savannah Teresa Powell of Minden, LA, Stella Grace Powell of Minden, LA and Kennedy Lee Powell of Monroe, LA; sister-in-laws: Betty Poche of Natchitoches, LA, Marsha Adams of Choudrant, LA and Sue Crawford also of Choudrant, LA ; numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and family. Pallbearers will be Keith Odom, Joe Paul Ellenburg, Earl Neel, Lane Odom, Max Richmond, Joey Poche and Ronnie Poche. The family would like to thank the VA Comfort Care Unit, Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehab and Professional Hospice for their care of Mr. Poche.Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Monday, June 13, 2016 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
