Jon was born on May 28, 1956, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and passed away on November 21, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd L. and Olivia M. Corty. Jon is survived by his brother, Marvin Corty and his children, Robert A. Corty, Virginia L. Corty, and Landon L. Corty.
