Funeral services for John H. Pruett, Jr. will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 15, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Dear Sweet Laurie...I was out of country when your dad passed away. Just finding out. So sorry to hear of his passing. Would have wanted to be there to celebrate his life. What a sweet man he was. Larry and I are so sorry we were not able to attend the funeral of John. He was such a sweet friend to both of us and we always think very fondly of him. He lived a long life and he was one of the most joyful persons we knew. The Pruett family has been, for many years, a friendly acquaintance to our family. We are experiencing the loss of Ruth Phillips husband, Donald, who passed away last evening with congestive heart failure and is also at Kilpatrick's Funeral Home. We have been busy with family affairs and contacts with regard to his death. Ruth is my sister and she has her family here from out of town. Love you all and hope the peace of God will keep you in this time of sadness.
