Funeral services for John David Wyles will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Deacon Bettye Kauffman will officiate. Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery in Bastrop, LA. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home.
John David was born on May 13, 1978 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on July 1, 2022 in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by grandparents, John David “JD” Wyles, Sybil Edwards and Yvonne Wyles; uncles Steve, Cecil and Jimmy; and partner and best friend Roger Mayes.
John David is survived by his parents, Faron and Lynn Wyles; brother, Michael L. Wyles (Amanda); aunts, Shirley Wyles and Connie Wyles; uncle Murphy Wyles; cousin Dusty Wyles; Goddaughter, Kawaii Mayes; and numerous friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Jay Banks, Jordan Mercer, Frankie Jordan, Devon Wyles, Dusty Wyles, and Chester Blanchard. Honorary pallbearers will be the Mayes family.
