A Memorial service for John Dale Antley “Pappy”, 82, of West Monroe will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Fair Park Baptist Church with Rev. Waymon Warren and Rev. Eddie Simmons officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Fair Park Baptist Church, and Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 12:00 PM until time of service at Fair Park Baptist Church. Private family interment will be held at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Dale was born October 23, 1938 in West Monroe and passed away December 9, 2020 in Monroe. He was retired from New York Life Insurance Company, and served in the United States Navy from 1957 until 1962. Dale was preceded in death by his parents Stein Antley and Louis Frantom Antley and brother Robert Antley.
Dale is survived by his wife Mary Alice Christian Antley; daughter Vicki Perry and husband Mike; son Vaughn Antley and wife Pam Fury Antley; grandchildren Lindsey Perry McConkey and husband Kyle, Devin Antley and wife Jordan, Katherine Rose Antley, Hanna Grace Antley and Jared Perry; great-grandchildren Perri Elizabeth McConkey and Blake Elizabeth Antley; sister Ann Richards and husband Sonny; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be, Devin Antley, Mike Perry, Robert Canterbury, Danny Williams, Kyle McConkey and Lonnie Scarborough.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Cannon and Kirk Cannon.
Memorials may be made to Aviation Military Museum, Monroe, LA and Fair Park Baptist Church.
