Joesph Wayne Vallery, age 66, of Ruston, LA, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 09, 2013 at the North Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston. Mr. Vallery was born in Lake Charles, LA on October 5, 1946. He was preceded in death by parents, JC and Fleda Vallery; brothers: Fred Vallery and John Vallery; and sister: Bobbie Tyson The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 209 N. Bonner, Ruston, LA 71270. The memorial service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston with Gilbert Reese and Charles Vaughn officiating. Burial will be at Pines Memorial Gardens. A potluck luncheon will follow at Cedar Creek School in the multipurpose building, 2400 Cedar Creek Drive – Ruston, LA. Wayne has been the owner of several businesses through the years. He was the owner and President of Arcadia Oilfield Supply, Inc. Wayne has lived most of his life in north Louisiana. He worked hard, loved God, loved his family, and all those he knew. Wayne is survived by his wife and best friend, Treba; children: Lesa Vallery Nelson, Jay and Shauna Vallery, Gina and Regan Campbell, and Dana Vallery; grandchildren: Chloe Nelson, Lane Vallery, Gavin Campbell, Avery Nelson, Bryce Vallery, Gannon Campbell, and Aiden Campbell; sisters: Janet Grundman, Joyce Geautreaux, Gaynell Powell, Ioma Durand, Linda Koonce, and Adele Manuel; sister-in-laws: Alda Dozier and Nell Dozier; and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
