Funeral services for Joe Kvaternik, 92 of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Eugene Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM.

Joe was born November 6, 1929 in Rocky Branch, LA and passed away February 1, 2022 in West Monroe. Joe served in the U.S. Army, while serving he was an instructor at the Guided Missile Plant in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. After his military career he went on to become a well respected car dealer in Northeast Louisiana, where he met and made a lot of friends. Joe is preceded in death by parents, Josip and Estella Kvaternik; brother, Billy Joe Kvaternik; two fur babies, Jack Henry and Jill Monroe.

Joe is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cheryl Kvaternik; son, Joe Kvaternik; daughter, Laurie Kvaternik ; 4 grandchildren, Kellie Rose Kvaternik and Lindsey Kvaternik Polk, Trey Kennedy and Alex Powell; 1 great-grandchild, Boggan Polk; sister, Josephine Hicks; sister-in-law, Betty Kvaternik; and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers Terry Hicks, Greg Hicks, Clark Cooper, Adrian Evans, Tadd Bass and Lynn Albritton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be James Boyd and Stanley Wink.
