Funeral services for JoAnn Taylor, 91, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 18, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.  Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery, Eros, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  A visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. until the time of service Friday.

JoAnn was born on March 27, 1934 in Hollis, Oklahoma and passed on to her eternal resting place on April 16, 2025 at her residence surrounded by family.  She was the daughter to the late Edgar Rhodes and Edna Alexander.  JoAnn had a passion for antiques and she enjoyed watching her cooking shows.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Rhodes and Edna Alexander; step-son, Donald Taylor; step-mother, Verda Rhodes; and brother, John W. Rhodes.

JoAnn is survived by her loving husband  of 59 years, Bobby Taylor; canine companions, Bubba and Cricket; children, Mickey Ann Edwards and husband Allan, John Sedberry, Brenda Gilliland and husband Travis, Carol Ann Martin and husband Sherman; grandchildren, Brandon Martin and wife Nikki, Bobby Ross Martin and wife Destiny, Trenda Stevens, Angela Taylor, Andy Sanford and Alex Peden and wife Marti; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Martha Barnes, Geraldine Cloyd and Pat Kennedy; along with other extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Martin, Bobby Ross Martin, Garrett Boudreaux, John Scott, Alex Peden and Sherman Martin.
