Jimmie Sue Lively, age 79, of West Monroe, Louisiana went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 1, 2018 in a local nursing facility.Jimmie Sue was born June 28, 1939 in Monroe, Louisiana to Cora Parrish and Ernest Sebren. As a homemaker she was known throughout for her delicious meals and tasty desserts. The dinner table was always her happy place where she enjoyed being around the company that surrounded her. During her later years in life although distance prevented her from seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren she was always quick to ask how they were doing, or what big events were going in their lives, which always seemed to brighten her day. She was preceded in death by her parents; father of their children, Quitman Lively; daughter, Holly Porter; three brothers, Tommy Sebren, Benny Sebren, Ronnie Sebren.She is survived by a daughter, Laquita Lively; four sons, Nelson Lively and wife Kate, Gary Lively and wife Kim, Randy Lively and wife Janet, Rodney Lively and wife Tonya; a brother, Butch Sebren; two sisters, Norma Eyre and Betty Stewart; eleven grandchildren, Todd Bourgeois, James Quitman Lively, Rachel Lively, Gina Lively, Eric Lively, Josh Lively, Amy Lively, Heather Lively, Jessica Lively, Jacob Lively, Blake Lively and numerous great grandchildren.Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Clark Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Clark Springs Baptist Church with Bro. William Edwards officiating.
