To the family of Mr. Brasher, I am sorry for your loss. Although I only knew Mr. Brasher for a short amount of time, he made an impression on my life. While doing clinical I got to meet this beautiful soul. He was my patient assignment for the day and I am so grateful God allowed me to get to listen to his stories. He was the first patient I ever had while being in nursing school. He was always so sweet and gentle. He was always smiling and never once had anything negative to say. He gave me a run down of his life and boy did I get emotional. He told me about his wife, kids and grandkids. I remember him telling me that his grandkids call him Bop. From that day forward, he was known as Bop. The last day of clinical, I went to tell him goodbye and he looked at me and said something that has made me push through nursing school since. Thank you Bop for sharing your life stories with me and for your kind words. Rest in peace!

Ronnie, my heart is heavy over the passing of my "brother". I loved him dearly because I always saw him as my "protector " on Georgia St. We talked last week and I am forever grateful for that. You and I are the last ones left from Georgia St and Florida St. Love, Bebe (Harriett Adams)
