On Jan 6, 1972 he was born again and chose to serve the Lord from that day forward. After surrendering to the ministry Jessie received a bachelor’s degree from Mid America Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN. Bro. Foster pastored for 50 years in Louisiana and Arkansas. Bro. Foster could tell stories like no other, his sense of humor and anecdotes were timeless. He could always make a point in his sermons to tie in humor with sincerity to preach God’s word. The greatest joy in his life was seeing a soul come to Jesus because he knew what Jesus did for him. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, deer hunter and killed his last deer a few weeks ago off his front porch.
