Jessie Hilton

September 18, 1946 - March 9, 2025

Jessie A. Hilton, 78, of Spencer, passed away March 9, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 18, 1946 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the parents of Charlie and Daisey Hilton, whom have preceded him in death. Jessie was a member of Spencer Baptist Church for forty-two years. He served in the United States Air Force, then later he was employed by General Motors for twenty-seven years. Jessie loved the outdoors, planting and growing his garden and taking care of his paint horses.

Jessie is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Hilton; children, Wendy Royal and husband Roger, Brett Hilton and wife Kalisha, Lance Hilton and wife Ellie; grandchildren, Reece Royal, Riley Royal, Ethan Hilton, Theodore Hilton, Elijah Hilton and Amelia Hilton; and one great-grandchild, Aria Royal; along with other cherished family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the NELA Veterans Home staff, for their care and support during Jessie’s time there.
