Jerry Wilcockson passed away at 71 years at home on January 29, 2018, after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 14, 1947 in Jonesboro, AR. At his request he will be cremated and a private memorial at a later date will be held at Northeast Louisiana War Veteran Home.Jerry served in U.S. Army for 6 years during Vietnam war and was very highly decorated (very few knew of his accomplishment). He was crew chief on the helicopter, the Triple Nickel as it was known, which was with the 101st Airborne. Jerry and Dianne favorite pastime was collecting miles on their Harley.He is preceded in death by his parents, Thad and Jewel Wilcockson; his sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Weldon Ross; son, Jeremy Wilcockson; his uncles C.J. Wilcoxon and Pat Wilcoxon and his grandparents.Those left to cherish and remember him are his wife, Dianne Wilcockson; his children, Nikki Wilcockson Hyde, Shari Wilcockson Sanders, Jacci Wilcockson Carpio, Debora Pymel, Tracy Lorden, and Christina Jacobs; nephews, Mike and Mark Moore; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; brother-in-law Bobby Fisher and the late Janet Fisher.Thank you my love, for all the wonderful years we shared.Online condolences maybe made to family atwww.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
