Funeral services for Jerene Hemphill Davis, 70, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 7, 2021 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. Scott Howell officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Eros, LA. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Jerene Hemphill Davis was born on March 21, 1951 in Delhi, Louisiana to the union of Quentis and Ruby Hales Hemphill. She left this life on May 4, 2021 at the age of 70. Jerene was a 1969 graduate of Pioneer High School an employee of The Children’s Clinic/Pediatric Clinic for 25 years. She was also a member of Faith Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene. Jerene was preceded in death by her parents, Quentis and Ruby Hemphill; her sisters Esta Monzingo, JoAnn McMorris, Bonnie Ford, Verdine Holder, Lynette Michel and her twin sister Maurene Sims.
Jerene is survived by her husband of 30 years Roy Davis; daughters Gwennie Davis, Jennifer Simpson and son-in-love Sammy Simpson; grandchildren Saige Erwin, Raleigh Simpson, Morgan Simpson and Pearl Davis; great-grandchildren Lola Rose Erwin and Eli Gangaraju; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Sims, Jr., Sammy Simpson, Raleigh Simpson, Gerald McClung, Stephen Holder and Jeffrey Trichell.
