A gathering for family and friends for Jennie Cole will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00PM, Friday, June 20, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Jennie was born on February 6, 1946 in Manifest, Louisiana and passed away on June 19, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by family.  She was a former Sr. Vice President at Ouachita Independent Bank, where she served for 46 years. Jennie was preceded in death by her father, Ted Lanier; mother, Neva Lanier; and sisters, Lillie “Pig” Poole and Sue Smith.

Jennie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jimmy Cole; son, Thomas Varnell; daughters, Vickie Santostefano and husband Peter, Vanessa Gayle Shidiskis; grandchildren, Brian Book, Ryan Beaudion and wife Hannah, Brandie Holman and husband Joseph, Andrew Cole, Madison Shidiskis and partner Julian, Joseph Shidiskis and wife Haleigh; sister, Patt Taunton and husband Maxie; along with other cherished family and friends.
