Graveside services for Jeffery L. Moore will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery in Bernice, LA. Officiating will be Pastor Phillip Farris under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.

Jeffery was born on January 4, 1971 to Bobby Ray and Mary Fuller Moore in Corpus Christi, Texas at the Navy Base Hospital. At 18 months old his family transferred to the Naval Base in Mayport, FL. They transferred upon retirement, and moved back to Bernice, LA when Jeff was 6 years old. He finished Bernice High School and always worked as an electrician, plumber, welder, and mechanic. He always called himself a “Jack of all Trades”. Many of the new chicken houses built in Texas and Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana have plumbing done by Jeff and much of the welding done on the new Sterlington bridge was done by Jeff. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bernice, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father Bobby Ray Moore, and wife, Kelly C. Moore.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his mother, Mary Fuller Moore of Bernice, LA; one sister, Maxine Stewart of Bernice, LA; and one brother, George Moore of Lufkin, TX: 3 daughters, Jessica Ramsey of Chandler, OK; Emily Peevy of Minden, LA; and Bethany Kolb of Ruston, LA and one grandchild, Piper Peevy of Minden, LA.

The last year Jeff battled diabetes hard and finally on January 18, 2021 diabetes won the battle. Jeff had just turned 50 years old.
