Dear Jim, I appreciate your call on Saturday so much, and was terribly sad to hear of Midge's passing. We had been life long friends, and I regretted very much that I had not seen her in so many years. Our growing up years were spent involved in so many things in school and church together with many laughs, tears, and fun times. Heaven will be a little brighter because she is there, and what a reunion we will have when the time comes. You will be in our prayers in the days to come; please stay in touch.

I am so sad to learn about Aunt Midge! What a loss, for everyone. Many memories flood my mind as I remember her.... her wonderful sense of humor, her talented gifts, her beauty and grace and the times she reached out to me after the loss of my mother, Louise, her sister. She always remembered my birthday and would phone me so we could catch up on things. She demonstrated kindness and elegance in every situation she found herself in....what a remarkable woman! Her ability to walk in a room and make "everything" better will always be a part of the wonderful memories I have of her...to know her was to love her...our sorrow to not have her with us in the "now", but knowing we'll see her again, is great comfort! Thank you Uncle Jim, Debra, Jay and Laura for sharing her with me...she will be missed but remembered always! God's rich blessings on you all in this sorrowful time.

Laura, we are thinking about you and your family. Your mother's journey and legacy of love continues to live in each of you - those she loved most dearly. As you travel through these saddest of days, may your memories give you comfort while bringing a smile to your lips and peace to your soul. May your Mother's grace, love of husband, children and family reign as her shining accomplishment along with her beautiful music, giving spirit and great laugh forever fill the halls of your memory. Love to you and your entire family.Lynn Fife, Betty Burkhart, Ruby Thornhill, Ruth Swancy, Barbara Fife
