Boys -I don't know if you know it, but your mother was my mother's "big sister" in Chi Omega. They always were close friends, and your mother called me a couple of times after my mother died in September of 2012. She was a wonderful person, and our family was enriched by her presence.Cathy
Steve, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom! I have many fond memories of her although geometry wasn't fond of me! I also have many memories of all those Neville school days and I cherished our friendship . Please give my heartfelt regards to Cindy and the rest of your family! Fondly, Zoe
To all the family but especially to Steve, my classmate. Your Mom was a special lady. I had her for geometry. I was not a gifted math student, but your Mom made geometry my favorite math class of all time. I remember her smiling face. Mother enjoyed teaching with her. I am so sorry for your loss.
I mowed Mrs. Pearce yard for 5 years. She is a very sweet lady. I would be there every Wednesday morning at 7:30 and she would be waiting with a list of things to do. I will miss her greatly. Prayers go out to the family
We shared an Aunt,, Maude Flynn of Kerrville, TX.You looked so much like Aunt Maude; it was more like a mother-daughter than an aunt-niece.Jane,, you will be missed not in sorrow but rather in the happiness of a life well lived. Perfect bodies, no more pain, no more wheel chair .Plenty of time to worship her Lord and visit with loved ones and friends. There is a song that expresses it much better than I can,,. "If Only You Could See Me Now!"Rest in peace my cousin, Jane.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Mrs. Pearce the weekend of our 40th class reunion. It was so great to see her again. Steve, Cindy, Doug and families, you have my sincerest condolences.
As an average student at best (yes, I did get through college!) Mrs. Pearce was truly a caring teacher. When I finally "grew up" I did enjoy college classes and had many Mrs. Pearces in my life. Steve, she was a great person!
Aunt Jane, you will be missed. We always enjoyed visiting with you at Annee's house. You're with your sister now and I can just see the two of you catching up! With a heart full of love as our beloved Ann LeJeune used to say. Two great ladies are together again.
Mrs. Pearce was one of my favorite teachers at Neville. She taught me Geometry and made it enjoyable.
What a nice and patient teacher Mrs. Pearce was. She used to calmly say to me, "Lisa Scalia, budget your time. Budget your time." With this, she succinctly put her finger on the reason for my difficulty with Algebra I and II. Good advice for managing studies and managing all of life!
Mrs. Pearce was one of my most favorite teachers at Neville. She was passionate to make us learn and we did! She was also our cheerleader moderator and did such a wonderful job of keeping us all in line, motivated and full of smiles. What a wonderful gift she was to us as students. My sympathies to her family.
We loved having Mrs. Pearce as our neighbor, always so kind and looking out for our home when we were away. A true southern lady!
Another angel going up. She was always so kind to me.
Mrs Pearce was my Math teacher at Neville.. She was also a neighbor.. As an adult now, she became my friend. I was in PEO, a Ladies Club with her and she also lived at the retirement Center with my mom so I saw her Frequently.. She's always been such a kind, sweet Lady and she will be missed dearly by all that knew her ..
Mrs Pearce made geometry learnable to me as a Neville High School sophomore. I think of her whenever I have to figure any kinds of angles or circumference or area. She was a class act and a real lady.
I didn't have Mrs Pearce as a teacher, but she was always there if you needed anything. A big part of my years at Neville. Heaven has a new cheerleader. Prayers are surrounding all of you.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
