My deepest condolences to Jim and the rest of the Ball family. Jane was one of the sweetest and classiest ladies I ever met and I remember her fondly. She had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor. What fun we had when we all went to Homer Bailes’ church to play music and stayed up most of the previous night hearing music, dancing, and giggling. I enjoyed spending time with Jim and Jane so much when I briefly lived in Shreveport to work with the tourist bureau and the Louisiana hayride project. Fond memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Jim and Jane for being so kind to me. May Jane find her wings to heaven and may Jim be comforted to have known such a great love. Jonita Aadland

Jim and family, I am so sad to learn of Jane's passing. She was such a genuinely beautiful person. Her always present smile, warm greeting, sincerity, and caring nature and acts made everyone who ever came into contact with her feel special. Ruston - make that the world - is a better, happier, kinder place because of Jane. Jim, children, family, I and hundreds more share your sadness. God blessed us all with Jane. Surely, He is already using her in Heaven to make it shine even brighter. John Sachs
