Funeral services for James W. Frederick, 76, of Monroe will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Rodney J. Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mr. Frederick was born on January 27, 1937 in Winnfield, LA and passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 in Monroe, LA at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Home. He was a Master Sergeant, Retired from the U. S. Army of 26 years. His biggest love was his grandchildren and serving his country. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Brigitte; sons, Patrick and Arthur and his wife, Andrea and children, Ashley, Austin, and Amber; stepson, Roger and wife, Katrin and their children, Philip and Lisa. He is survived also by James, Jr., daughters Angela and Marilyn and their family. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
