Loretta,I just saw the e-mail about Jim Bob. I am so sorry for your loss!I remember when mother set the two of you up on a date at our housewhen I was little. She and "Miss" Juanita had their fingers crossed thatyou two would hit it off. They both had powerful prayers. He and I had the same birthday. The Owens family will always be dear to my heart. We had lots of good times and memories in Jena. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord bless you and keep you!!! Loretta, I am so sorry for your loss. As you know, Jim and I grew up together near my childhood home in Jena and shared many cousins. We were friends from as far back as I can remember. I always thought a lot of Jim, and his easy-going manner. I can't remember a time he didn't have a smile on his face. He enjoyed life so much, and thought the world of you. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I spent a good bit of my childhood at the Owens house with Megan. Mr and Mrs Owens felt like second parents there for a while. I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Owens was a good man and he will be missed. I know that he will be watching over you all from above.

My heart is saddened by the loss of Jim..his wife Loretta was the apple of his eye..then those children and grandchildren always put a smile on his face. It is and was a blessing to be a friend and CMA was a soft spot in both of our hearts..He and I shared the same neighbors, they were his in Jena and mine in Bastrop..it's a small world we would say and tell stories while he was in the dental chair..was hard to get any work done for we were always sharing memories of our friends. Loretta and the family, your loss is great and very hard..but know he touched so many lives with his testimony by the way he lived his life. This world lost a great Christian and our Heavenly Father gained an amazing Angel..Prayers and love
