James Jim Barentine 77, of West Monroe went to be with his Lord Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 AM at The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities. Pastor Jason Ramsey, Bishop Mark Foster, Dr. Fred Foster and Rev. Floyd Barentine will be officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Jim loved his family deeply and was a member of The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities. He had the heart of a servant and worked in several areas of ministry including the Bus Ministry, where he maintained a fleet of 20 buses for many years.Jim is survived by his wife, Diane ; daughter, Tammy Ramsey and husband Ed; son, Chuck Barentine and wife Lynette; brother, Bobby Barentine and wife Velva; grandchildren, Charles Barentine, Jr. and wife Ashley, Sierra Ramsey, Marissa Barentine; step-grandchildren, Stefanie Stanton, Savannah Ramsey, Trey Ramsey; great-grandchild, Kenzlee Barentine; 5 step-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.The just man walketh in his intergrity; his children are blessed after him.
