A celebration of the life of James Henry Kilgore will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Vienna, LA at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Vienna Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Reid and Rev. Joe Aulds will officiate the service.James was born on February 23, 1921 and got his wish to be in Heaven with his wife Margie on Sunday, June 3. He retired after many years with Ruston Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church and spent many years of service as a deacon with this church family. He was known as a man of integrity and wisdom.His wife of 68 years Margie Simmons Kilgore preceded him in death.
