Dinky was a very special person to me and Rhonda Wade(My mom) I will never forget the time that mom and I went to the Debonares concert and Dinky taught me how to dance. He had told mom that he didn't dance with little girls and he ended up having such a good time with me. It is a memory that has always stuck out to me and will always be with me. We ran into Dinky as the years went by and he was always such a special person to us. We send our condolences. We love yall and are praying.

Laura, I wanted to express our sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your dad. You were such a special little girl to me when I student taught you in Mrs. Abbott's 4th grade at Sallie Humble. I did my case study on you and loved getting to know you and your family. I remember they had Bob and me over for dinner one night. I haven't seen you in many years but sometimes see your picture in the paper....and you are still as cute as ever. We have been in Texas 15 years, but I still read the Monroe paper online. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time.
