Memorial services for Jaime Aros will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at The Presbyterian Church of Ruston, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Rev. Edith Hill will officiate. Prior to the service, visitation will be from 10:00 11:00 AM at the church.Mr. Aros, 83, passed away on April 12, 2016. He was a graduate of the Colegio Americano in Cali, Colombia and Ball State University and was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Ruston. He retired three times: from the United States Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant, then from being a family counselor and finally from teaching Spanish at Louisiana Tech. He is preceded in death by his parents, Isaias and Evangelina Aros and siblings Carlos Aros, Jose Yesid Aros, Melida Aros, Miriam Aros, Alfonso Aros, Reynol Aros and Enelia Spaulding. Mr. Aros is survived by his wife, Ruth Schimpf Aros; sons, Walter Aros and Jaime Aros, Jr.; granddaughter, Isabel Marie Aros; brothers and sisters, Noelba Barreiro, Graciela Yaeger, Geovani Aros de Montoya, and Cenen Aros.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Ruston, 212 Bonner St. N., Ruston, LA 71270.Online condolences may be made to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
