Funeral services for Jackie Esters, 80, will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 21, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Dry Prong, in Dry Prong, Louisiana.  Bro. Lloyd Whitman will officiate.  Interment will follow at Dry Prong Cemetery, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M., the day of service, at First Baptist Church of Dry Prong.

Jackie Esters was born on June 4, 1944, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and passed away on September 16, 2024, in West Monroe, Louisiana.  She was a wonderful loving wife, momma, nana, and sister.  Jackie was loved by so many and the laughter she brought was contagious to them all. She was a homemaker that enjoyed cooking for her family.  Jackie enjoyed playing games with her grandkids and she was a stickler for the rules. She also loved to dance and no one could do the twist and jitter bug better. Jackie is preceded in death by her sons, Alvey Lowery and Chucky Lowery; granddaughter, Tasha Wilson; mother, Jackie Arnold; father, Malo Williamson; and brothers, James Malo Williamson and Charles Bradley “Tex” Williamson.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Esters; daughters, Lynda Wilson and husband Billy, Melissa McClaren and husband Ryan; daughter-in-law, Shelia Lowery; brother, Tommy Williamson and wife Vickie; sister, Sharon Locker and husband Charles; sister-in-law, Patsy Williamson; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Lowery, Billy Mac Wilson, Jason McGowen, Coldon Channing, Nick Bolinger, Josiah McGowen and Kirt Hernsburger.
