Dear Lisa, Leslie and your family - I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing and will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I love the thought that death is but the absence of your physical presence, but spirit and the person remain with us - just out of our sight.

Jack was a good family member to me and my mother. We along with my two brothers owed him alot and he will be missed. I just found out from my mother about his passing and he will be missed by both me and my mother. We had a lot of memories and wish his wife Betsy and children well and hope they will carry on strong as he would love them to.

To 4 of my very favorite ladies. I don't know of a finer person or a greater man than Jack Files. From all us Foxes....we love you and you remain in our prayers. Mere words cannot express how sorry we are, but we all take heart in knowing his suffering is over and he is now in God's loving arms. Hugs to you all.

To Betsy and the daughters, I am so sorry for your loss. Jack was the epitome of competent attorneys. I borrowed and trusted many forms of his while I worked at DF&K. I went to him for advice on how to handle successions, real estate, and corporation matters on countless occasions. He never refused to assist me. I joined the firm in 1986 and left in 2009. During that time, I cannot recall a single occasion when Jack ever lost his temper nor ever used off color language. He was very proud of his family and loved you very much. I know he will be missed by you. He will be missed by a whole lot of us, too!
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
