Dear Mrs. Thames, Pam and family, I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. Just the other day I was turning off the boulevard to go check on Daddy and there was Mr. Thames working in the yard as he so faithfully did. He always had a smile, friendly wave, and caring heart. His presence will surely be missed by many. Please know I am praying for you today and pray that you will find strength and comfort in the days ahead. Love, Tina Smith

I was very sad to read about the death of Alvin--He was truly one of the finest people I have ever known--I finished Dodson High in 1952 and I believe he finished in 1954--My mother was the school librarian Berline Simpkins--My father was Reubin Simpkins and he was a schoolboard member--I have a picture of the Dodson High basketball team which reads Parish Champs--1952--Alvin is in the picture and was probably in the 10th grade and 16 years old--Also in the picture is me--Mickey Simmons--Baxter Parker--Kelly Bishop--Karl Womack and Coach J Y Terry--If any body reading this would like the picture --email your mailing address to donsimpkins@aol.com and I will mail you a copy.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Dear Family, I worked with Alvin at Riverwood back in 1989-1992. Alvin was always a gentleman and a wonderful person to work with. He will be missed. His witness for the Lord was great. I know he is at rest with our Lord. May God bless you and give you an extra portion of His grace and love for the days to come. Sincerely, Lamar Rogers, Jr.
