Funeral services for Imagene Finkbeiner, 95, of Rocky Branch, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Rev. Paul Pearson will officiate. The graveside committal will be set for 2:00 P.M. for Mrs. Finkbeiner’s final resting place at Lebanon Cemetery near Homer, Louisiana.
Imagene was born on April 27, 1929, in Ruple, Louisiana and she passed away on November 23, 2024, in Rocky Branch. She was a lifelong Christian lady that had a strong faith. She was very interested in genealogy and family history which led her to become a member of The Daughters of the Confederacy. Imagene was also a member of the “Doll Ladies” who made and sold Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for their organization’s charity. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Finkbeiner; son, Dale Finkbeiner; grandson, Scott Arender and eight brothers and three sisters.
Imagene is survived by her three children, Linda F. Hicks, Mike Finkbeiner and wife, Debbie, Karl Finkbeiner and wife, Sondra; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Todd Arender, Drake Hill, Kane Finkbeiner, Lee Finkbeiner, Kris Finkbeiner, and Nathan Deason.
The family would like to send out some heartfelt thanks to the following people for all of the care and support given during this difficult time. Nicole, from Elara Home Health, for such great care given to Jeane (Granny); Elara Hospice nurses, Shirley, Taylor, Kinyada, Destiny, Michelle, and all of the after hours staff. The family has deeply appreciated the encouraging words and visits from Chaplin Jayne and social worker David as well.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
