Funeral services for Ida Mae Wilson, 98, formerly of Spencer, LA will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Spencer Baptist Church in Spencer, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Carter and Rev. Kurt Auger. Interment will be at Ouachita City Cemetery in Ouachita under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Spencer Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husbands James E. Wells Sr. and Frank N. Wilson, two brothers William Lee Griffin Jr. and Joseph Slaughter Griffin, son, Robert Brooks Wells. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Virginia Ayers of West Monroe, LA; Billye Jean Murphy of Spencer, LA; Edith Laverne Davis of Borger, TX; son, James E. Wells Jr. of Spencer, LA; 20 grandchildren, 41 great- grandchildren and 28 great great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Don Plunk, Dewayne Richardson, Shane Moore, Dennis Gates, J.R. Wells, Kyle Lowery. Honorary pallbearers will be Grandsons. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Spencer Baptist Church in Spencer, LA.
