Steve, I was so moved to read of "Billy Hugh's" death. We go back to the 1950's. Your family and mine were both in business in WM. Yours in the dry cleaning and mine in a shoe store. Our fathers were very active in business orginazations in WM----I have scrapbooks from those days that bring back such fun memories----Billy Hugh and I were "girlfriend/boyfriend" for a little while----our parents would visit a lot, so he and I spent silly and fun time together----I stay in touch with my "roots" even tho I have been here in Austin for 37 years. I WAS married to Jamie Lee Wilhite for a couple of years, so that might help you put the pieces together. You were NOT born back when all this was going on. I have a picture on the wall next to my computer of the Business Men in WM standing by the WELCOME TO WEST MONROE business sign that my father had erected and your father is standing next to him----If you wish to contact me, my e-mail is ONEDAH@aol.com-----God Bless!

I wish to express my condolences to the family of Hugh Taylor. I lost a true friend and golfing partner in Mr. Bill. We enjoyed many days on the course together and many good times around the pool table. I never played golf with anyone that had a passion for the game as he did. He always hated to see hunting season come around because he knew that I would be gone to the woods for a few months, only now I realize that I wish that I would have skipped some of those days. I will truely miss him. Tommie Thomas
