Funeral services for Huey Pentecost will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday March 26, 2022 at Pentecostals of the Twin Cities with Pastor Jason Ramsey officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM at Heard Cemetery at Manifest, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Huey was born July 19, 1934 in Manifest, LA, and passed away March 22, 2022 in West Monroe, LA. Huey served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a millwright with International Paper with over 40 years of loyal service. Huey was a member of the Pentecostals of the Twin Cities. He was preceded in death by his son, Mac Pentecost; 2 brothers, Clarence Pentecost and Charles Pentecost; sister Lois Mc Millian.
Huey is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sudie Pentecost; 3 children Vicky Fincher and husband Phil, Karl Pentecost and wife Chanel and Karen Whitehead; 5 grandchildren Sheree Duck and husband Steven, Tyler Fincher, Brennen Whitehead, Kaley Fincher and Brinkley Whitehead; 1 step-granddaughter, Kourtnee DeVille; 2 great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Korbin; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Fincher, Brennen Whitehead, Baxter Copeland, Kaleb Coldiron, Jay Copeland, Harold Cripps, Gary Pentecost and Jeff Pentecost.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mike Clampit, Tommy Copeland and Gleason Copeland.
