Houston served in the United States Army and was a member and Deacon of Frantom Chapel Church. He was a member of West Monroe Loyal Order of Moose where he held the highest degree. Houston worked in sales most of his career.
Houston is survived by his wife, Bonnie Chambless Nelson; daughter, Krystal Boyer and husband Bubba; step-son, Steve Clay and wife Charmaine; grandchildren, Amber K. Lyons and husband Dakota, Charles T. Boyer, Jr., Joshua Clay and Nicholas Clay; great-grandchildren, Jordan Lyons and Gage Lyons.
Honorary Pallbearers for Houston will be his Fellow members of the West Monroe Moose Lodge and fellow deacons of Frantom Chapel Church.
In lieu of flowers Bonnie request friends to send Memorial donations to Pilots for Patients (pilotsforpatients.com)
Due to Climate of Caution with Co-Vid 19, Houston will be laid to rest in a private Graveside ceremony at Clark Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends are encouraged to use Kilpatrick Funeral Home Website to send Condolences.
