Funeral Services for Hershell Caroll Stokes, 84, will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville La. with Rev. Stan Wyant officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach La. Hershell was born September 15, 1933 in Dubach, La. and passed away on December 31, 2017 in Farmerville. He was veteran of the US Army. Hershell was proceeded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Stokes, sister Calesta Miller and grandson-in-law Raymond Joshua Shedden. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Myrna Loye Odom of Farmerville, La; Daughter, Denise Stokes McMullen and husband Ricky of Monroe La; Son, Timothy Marion Stokes of Bastrop, La., grandchildren; Dana Styron and husband Keith of West Monroe; Stephen Sanders and wife Elicia of Mountville Pennsylvania; Daniel Stokes and wife Amy of Farmerville La; Jennifer Shedden of Lake Many Florida; Keri Foust and husband Michael of Calhoun La; Kyle Stokes and wife Kelli of Farmerville; Karol Stokes of Salt Lake City, Utah and 16 great-grandchildren and nephews Rand and Rick Aden. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville La. Pallbearers will be Daniel Stokes, Kyle Stokes, Rand Aden, Rick Aden, Scott Aden and Tommy Welch.
