Funeral services for Helen “Marie” Moore, 96, will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, December 13, 2024 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.  Rev. Warren Eckhardt will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Calhoun, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Visitation will be held at 9:30 A.M. till time of service.

Helen “Marie” Brownlee Moore was born on July 28, 1928 and left this heavenly earth on December 10, 2024.  Helen was a wonderful giving wife, mother, and friend who had a loving heart.  She could always be found tending her beautiful flower beds.  Marie loved to travel and shop with her children.  Her annual trips to the beach were one of her great enjoyments.  Marie retired from the Holiday Inn Holidome as manager of housekeeping.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.  Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Archie Ray Moore; parents, Charles Emmett Brownlee and Nettie Elizabeth Cole Brownlee; and siblings, Willie Bell Brownlee, Ella Brownlee Holloway, J.D. “Dit” Brownlee, Buddy Brownlee, and Ben Brownlee.

Marie is survived by her children, Robert Lee Moore, Michael Steven Mayes, Beverly Moore Whetstone and husband Kevin, and Linda Moore Fontana and husband S.J.; grandchildren, Robert Moore, Shawn Mayes, Chris Mayes, Alicia Pitts, Lindsey Moore, Nicholas Fontana, and Lauren Fontana; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; along with other cherished family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Nicholas Fontana, Hunter Pitts, Noah Pitts, Shawn Mayes, Chris Mayes, and Zane McKenzie.
