Phamie,Jean and Andy, So sorry for all of you....what a wonderful mother you were blessed with for so many years. I had a flood of memories come back when I read the obit...all of them made me smile! We had so much fun on Emerson St. I remembered that "playhouse" on the left of your garage and all of us fussing over who's turn it was to play in it,.waiting impatiently in you driveway for BENNIE to get home from classes at Northeast to take us swimming at the Forsythe Park pool, all the sleep overs and going to the LTI barbecues with y'all! I remember Jean beating up on Tom Hargrove and playing football in your front yard and Phamie my best friend and I riding our bikes Back and forth to each others house! Going with you family to visit your Aunt Olla and Burel on Auburn. Helen must have feed me hundreds of times she was a good cook I can remember that house on Emerson so well lots of good times shared and memories made! Your mom was always glad to see me she had a wonderful sense of humor! she had to get tired of me but I never knew it! even my brother Petey and Andy we good friends and our baby sister Debbie was born during this time and WA was her godfather if I remember right. Last time I saw you mom and dad they were in Farmerville I stopped by his office there. sorry I missed the service Friday had appt at hospital for test.....would love to see ya'll. if you ever have time email me or call

Phamie, Jean and Andy, I was so sorry to open the paper this morning and read of the death of your mother. Unfortunately I have to be in New Orleans on Thursday and will not be able to be with you in Bernice for her service. But please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Of course I remember the good times we had at your home in Bernice--wow, how many years ago was that? Good memories. Your mom was a special person. Love, Craig
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Hello Phamie, Jean, and Andy, Our childhood memories form a special part of my life, and your mother and entire family are central to what I remember. When I am in Farmerville and see the house where you lived, I always think of the days when we had birthday parties together, performed in dance recitals together, and went to school together. Nonie and I have CDs of many of these and other events together. It's a blessing to have lifetime friends, and Nonie and I cherish the memories. Blessings during this time, Johnette Edwards McKown and Stan
