Memorial services for Helen Coons, 75, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Monroe. Minister Jonathan Wagner will officiate.  Interment will be held prior to service at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, April 4, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Helen was born on January 25, 1950 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, as the second child of Everett and Mary Coons. Her family moved to Monroe in 1955 and then later to West Monroe in 1958.   Helen was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church for over 20 years and was previously a member of Memorial Presbyterian in West Monroe, Louisiana.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mary Coons; and brother, Merton B. Coons.  Helen is survived by sister, Ruth Coons Sendecki of Montrose, Colorado and her husband Lester.
