Carla, we are sorry for your loss. As you know, your dad was very dear to me. He and his family were friends with my parents, and that goes back many, many years to an earlier Ruston when friends were like family. Harold was the same friendly, fun loving, caring person his entire life, and he will be missed by many. It was comforting to me just knowing he was my friend and I could get answers to questions about old Ruston families as well as our town. Prayers for you, your mom, and the other family members.

I am praying for you all this morning as you lay your precious one to rest. He is already in "celebration mode" in the presence of Jesus! Know you are loved by many and an army is surrounding you in love and prayer in the days ahead.

You were such an inspiration to me, up here on the lake. So many fishing stories and such a jokster. I remember the joke you played on Malcolm telling him the game warden was checking insurance out on the lake and if you didn't have it he would take your boat and take you to jail! We got a laugh out of that one. You sure had fun at the expense of him being British. I loved it, and you. I'll miss you Mr. Harold my old friend but will see you again one day when we'll once again sit around swapping fishing stories. So long good friend
