Harold was born on August 31, 1969, in West Monroe and passed away on September 19, 2024. Harold grew up in the Wilhite Community and graduated from Downsville High School in 1987 where he was named Mr. Downsville High School and met many of his lifelong friends. He then attended NLU where he excelled as a baseball player and was drafted in 1991 to play for the Chicago White Sox minor league team. He found success as a business owner beginning with Big Boyz Toyz in Rayville, and later starting his career in directional drilling. To describe Harold as an outdoorsman would be an understatement. Growing up, he loved trapping and squirrel hunting, and throughout his life, he made countless memories fishing with his dad and deer hunting with his best friends, especially Troy Pardue. Kansas was his happy place and arguably his second home, and he lived for bow season. He also looked forward to football season every year and never missed a Saints game on Sundays. He always looked for an opportunity to get together with family and friends to fry fish or boil crawfish where he never failed to make everyone laugh. His playful spirit and contagious laughter opened the doors for so many friendships throughout his life, and those who loved him will miss this part of him the most. He was truly one in a million in the roles he held as a father, son, brother, and friend.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Henry, Sr. and Ann Henry, and his brother, Chris Henry. He is survived by his daughters Hannah Noel (Anna Kathryn) and Lauren Henry, who love him so much.
